Cyclotide Engineering for Cancer Radioligands
Cyclotides are tiny, cyclic plant proteins that possess extreme tolerance to heat, pH, and proteolysis which are good qualities for potential protein drugs. Leveraging the directed evolution and high-throughput affinity maturation capabilities of yeast surface display, this project aims to engineer cyclotides in generating ultrastable binder candidates for radiotherapeutic applications.
